The Story Behind Underground
At various points in my life I found myself looking for the joy and peace that love brings. I found that even though I felt empty and needed more love in my life, I was not ready to receive it. As love has found me throughout my life, with friends and family and my wife and children I was always surprised when I found it. Maybe earlier in life, moving from a young child to a teenager, I didn’t appreciate my family's love and I was a very aggressive and short tempered kid. Later as I experienced losing a brother, it really opened my eyes about the love that had found its way “underground” from my family and was helping me float on their waters. Many times I wasn’t “looking” for it, but love found me, broke me down, and really set me free (thanks to my wonderful wife, Laura!), making me a more thankful person and a better part of my communities.
