Can I Rise is a song about the journey between roots and wings - and what happens when that question is shared across generations.

Co-written with my son, it became more than a song. It became a conversation about family, identity, and the stories we inherit.

How much of our path comes from where we started?

How much comes from the choices we make next?

This song lives in that space - between past and possibility, between what we've been given and what we're becoming.

father to son, lines extend
toward an open sky

Roots beneath our feet
wings learning what they can trust
two voices, one path

Hands built what we know
hearts imagine what could be
we step toward the light
